This episode starts out with the gals jumping out of a plane as they discuss DD’s cold and tissues while falling. They land at a cemetery and proceed to kick butt right off the bat. After successfully taking out the bad guys, they open up the coffin and the crime lord inside sits up! Cassie promptly smacks the guy out cold and he falls back into the coffin. Mission accomplished.
As the girls are packing up their stuff, they discuss how they all feel someone is listening in on them. Then Shane see’s an old friend. She yells out to him and they hug. The friend is Shane’s old room mate. Shane wants to know why he’s at a cemetery. He proceeds to tell her he’s planning his own funeral. He explains to the girls that he plans to freeze himself to be with his girlfriend. Cassie and DD proceed to make freeze jokes. Shane doesn’t understand why her friend chooses to be dead. Back at the office, Jack thinks the idea is romantic as the girls discuss the process that Shane’s friend will go through to achieve freezing himself. Once again Cassie and DD go into making more freeze jokes. Jack tries to crack some jokes, the girls are not amused. DD checks into the place that does this and finds out a billionaire owns it. Cassie says she may be able to get into his place and check things out since she had robbed the guy before posing as a charity worker. Jack suggests that DD and he go to the cryogenics lab. Jump the cryogenics lab were DD and Jack are posing as brother and sister interested for their father as a lab tech explains the process to them. Both DD and Jack keep cracking jokes. The tech becomes furious and tells them to get out. DD and Jack break back into the lab and hide in tanks till they close. Jack isn’t too happy about getting into a tank. Now we go to Cassie as she is breaking into the billionaire’s house. To her surprise, the billionaire is home. After Cassie is padded down by the billionaire’s security, they begin to talk. He knows Cassie and remembers her posing as a charity worker and robbing him. Strange thing though, this billionaire is living inside a bubble. The billionaire proceeds to tell Cassie why he is living inside a bubble. He explains his immune system is completely broke down. The slightest germ could kill him. The billionaire wants to know why Cassie broke in now. She explains that his company is willing to let a perfectly healthy man freeze himself. The billionaire does not see the harm in this being as it’s for love. Over to Shane and her friend we go now. The two of them are reminiscing over old times. Her friend finds an old tape from a talent show Shane and he did. Shane’s friend insists they do the routine since they got second place in their apartment complex and he says it’s a dying mans wish. They break into a sing and dance scene at this point. After jumping on the couch and knocking it over, they have a good laugh. And it’s back to the cryogenics lab we go. Jack and DD get out after the place closes. Sadly, poor Jack is half frozen. DD proceeds to help Jack thaw out by rubbing him and making him jump around which ends up in a hug. Jack seems sweet over DD after this, but is now fine. DD tells Jack they should get to the files to find something out. Jack goes into how awesome it must be to be that much in love to freeze your self for. The scenes go from Jack and DD to Cassie and the billionaire to Shane and her friend for a few rounds talking about life, love, commitment, hope and faith. The scenes end up with DD and Jack. Just as Jack is going to say how he feels about her, DD finds some stressing information. Every single patient that was in the lab was referred to by the same doctor and that doctor is the billionaire’s personal physician. They call Shane. Back to Shane and her friend. Shane then tells her friend that she had her friends check out the cryogenics place. She breaks the news to him about the doctor and that the people frozen weren’t necessarily going to die. Shane asks her friend to stay put were he is while she goes out to get more information. Meanwhile, the billionaire has asked Cassie to stay with him for the night. She says she has to go. The billionaire yells and makes her stay with him. Now back to DD and Jack. Jack begins to once again tell DD how he feels about her but her cell phone rings and it’s Shane. Shane tells DD that the doctor talked his patients into having terminal diseases and therefore should try cryogenics. Not quite sure why yet, Shane hangs up and heads back to her friend after not being able to contact Cassie for obvious reasons being held by the billionaire. DD and Jack get ready to leave the cryogenics lab, but get caught. Shane returns to her friend, but he is no longer there. DD and Jack are now tied together and being readied to be put into a cryogenics tank. After the guy leaves to prepare the tank, DD and Jack try to think up a plan to get out of the ropes. DD then sneezes and both she and Jack fall to the floor hitting something glass that breaks with DD lying on top of Jack. DD decides to grab a piece of glass to cut the ropes. They role around the floor till DD can get to a big enough piece of glass. She then complains that it’s so small. Jack thinks she’s talking about something else and tells her sorry and that it’s probably the fear. DD tells him she’s talking about the glass. DD realizes they need to think of another way out. Jack says he has a plan. Jack asks DD out on a date if they make it out. DD tells Jack that if may be better to talk about it after they get out and Jack agrees. Suddenly, in comes Shane and Cassie tied together with ropes...somehow Shane got caught as well I guess. Then the worst part, lying on a stretcher going past the window is Shane’s friend. Shane is extremely upset and ticked off. Surprise, in comes the billionaire via video. Cassie jokingly says “Can we see what else is on?” Too bad nothing! Cassie figured out the billionaire is using the frozen people for body parts. He then tells Cassie he is going to use her blood as a transfusion. Off the bad guys go to prepare to freeze the gals and Jack. Jack see’s some liquid nitrogen tanks. He and DD head towards the tank. Jack gets the valve open and puts his ropes near the nitrogen. BINGO! The ropes freeze and he breaks himself loose. DD unties Shane and Cassie and exclaims “A little help here our ropes came loose.” In rush the bad guys. The infamous fight entails. As usual the gals prevail. Shane announces “One more stop.” The girls bust into the billionaires home. The billionaire tells them they won’t get into his bubble. In walks Jack with the nitrogen. He sprays the glass. Shane throws a chair at the glass and shatters it. She then pommels the heck out of the billionaire till Cassie pulls her off. Shane then sneezes and proclaims she thinks she is getting DD’s cold. So much for a germ less environment! It looks like the billionaire is done for. The lab and the billionaires bubble get cleared out as Shane gives a eulogy at her friend’s funeral. The show ends with the gals and Jack sitting in the office, all of them a bit bummed out. Shane asks for some time off. Jack says that’s fine and tells the girls they should all have some time off and earned a vacation. After all…we may NOT see a second season right? DD says she is going to take her vacation right here, giving Jack the idea that she’d like to get to know him better. Score one for Jack! Shane picks up a picture of her friend and states “So, till we see each other again” as she looks at Cassie. This gives the “open” for a second season obviously. Lucky for us there is one! Everyone gets up and hugs and then proceed to walk out the door. End of season 1 and possibly the end of She Spies. Lucky for us there is a season 2!
